Overview

We, Michaël Tougas and Cynthia Pigeon, are the co-owners (managers and founders) of La Rosace Farm, a market garden farm in production since spring 2023. It is based in Saint-Louis, Quebec, in the Montérégie region. La Rosace is a certified organic, diversified and human-scale farm, with a mission to move toward a seasonal, fair, and healthy food system by sharing with our communities our passion for good food and ecology, as well as our agricultural know-how. The farm is established on approximately 5 acres, with 1.25 acre under cultivation. We are producing around forty different crops, ranging from fruiting vegetables to root vegetables, as well as microgreens, herbs, and all kinds of leafy greens. Our high-quality vegetables are sold directly in Montreal, Saint-Louis, Saint-Hyacinthe, and Saint-Bruno through a diversified marketing approach—primarily farmers’ markets, restaurants, CSA vegetable box subscriptions, and a self-serve farm stand. La Rosace completed its 3rd production season in 2025 and is beginning its 4th in 2026! We really hope the following information can help other farmers around the world!
